Privacy Policy

What ReLife collects, why, and the controls you have over your data.

If translations differ, the English Privacy Policy on /privacy is authoritative.

ReLife ("the App", "we", "us") is a personal productivity and self-improvement application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use ReLife. By using the App, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Information You Provide

  • Account data: email address and password when you register with email, or sign-in via Apple, Google, or other providers offered in the App (handled by our authentication provider).
  • If you use social or OAuth sign-in, we may receive basic profile fields the provider shares (for example email and display name) and store a display name you set or that we derive for your account.
  • Task data: tasks, lists, completion status, stat changes, custom rules.
  • Settings: language, theme, preferences.

We do not require your legal name, phone number, or mailing address for routine use of the App.

1.2. Automatic Data

We may collect:

  • Device type (iOS/Android)
  • App version
  • Operating system
  • Device-related identifiers (for example platform vendor or device identifiers) for security, fraud prevention, session integrity, and local device-linked storage as implemented in the App
  • Push notification identifiers (for example device tokens and related metadata) when you enable notifications, so we can deliver alerts through our backend
  • Crash logs & performance data (to improve stability)

We do not collect precise location. Depending on your device settings and features you enable, platform advertising or attribution identifiers may be processed by analytics and attribution partners (see below).

1.3. Analytics & attribution

When enabled in the mobile app, we use AppsFlyer (and similar providers we may add) for campaign measurement and attribution—for example to understand how users discovered ReLife and to log product analytics events. These services have their own privacy notices and may process limited device and event data subject to your platform settings and their policies.

1.4. Subscription Data

If you purchase a subscription:

  • Apple or Google provides us with a secure transaction token.
  • ReLife does not see or store your credit card information.

All purchases are handled securely by:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store
  • (optionally) Stripe for web payments

1.5. Health, wellness, fitness, and related data

ReLife is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. However, certain features involve habits, self-improvement, and life-area statistics (for example Vitality, Intellect, Emotions, Spirit, Social, and Discipline). Regulators and app stores may classify some of this information as wellness-, fitness-, or health-related data, even when it is self-reported or derived only inside the App for gamification.

Data we access and collect in this category includes what you enter or generate in the App, such as:

  • Habits, to-dos, lists, notes or labels you attach, and completion status
  • Dates and times of activity you log (including reminders or calendar integrations you enable)
  • Gamification data: experience points, levels, streaks, achievements, and related progress
  • Life-area or "stat" values and changes based on your use of the App

How we use this data: to provide core functionality (tracking, statistics, sync across your devices, personalization you configure), to operate subscriptions where applicable, to maintain security and reliability, and to improve the App. We do not sell this information. We do not use your task or habit content for advertiser audience targeting; marketing attribution is described separately above.

Platform health-service integrations: ReLife can read selected wellness or activity data from Apple Health and/or Google Health Connect when you explicitly enable the integration and grant permission. ReLife does not write data back to Apple Health. ReLife also does not collect clinical or diagnostic categories unless such categories are explicitly introduced in a future feature and disclosed in this policy before use.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and sync your tasks and stats across devices
  • Operate habit, to-do, and life-area features, including wellness- or gamification-themed statistics you choose to track
  • Calculate stat progress
  • Enable premium features
  • Improve app performance
  • Detect subscription status
  • Save your preferences
  • Run analytics, attribution, and crash reporting as described in this Policy

We do not:

  • Sell your personal information
  • Share your task or habit content with advertisers for their own marketing lists

We may use attribution and analytics partners (such as AppsFlyer) that measure installs and campaigns; those services can involve limited cross-app or cross-site measurement as described in their policies and subject to your device privacy settings.

3. Data Storage & Security

We protect information using encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) when it is sent between the App and our services. Stored data is hosted with trusted providers whose security practices and access controls we rely on as part of operating the service.

We take standard administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including limited access to systems that need it.

Despite our efforts, no system can guarantee 100% security.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

ReLife uses trusted third-party providers:

Authentication & Database

  • Supabase (secure backend & auth)

In-App Purchases

  • Apple App Store (StoreKit)
  • Google Play Billing
  • RevenueCat (subscription management)
  • Stripe (for web checkout, if enabled)

Analytics & attribution

  • AppsFlyer (mobile campaign measurement and in-app analytics events where enabled)

Crash reporting (optional)

  • Sentry or Expo error logs

These services only receive the data necessary to provide their function.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Update or correct your data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your data
  • Opt-out of analytics (where applicable)

6. Children's Privacy

ReLife is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will delete the data.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as you maintain an account.

If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our servers.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Changes will be posted inside the App and on our website with the updated date.
